What's In a Name?

With just a week left before we meet baby Lansford, the topic of the lil one's name is a frequent source of conversation.

As a nod to tradition, the baby's middle name will be Wesley to show proper respect to the many other first born Lansford men before him.

Oh, and did I mention that I am totally cheesy and want the baby to have the same monogram as Cole so we are limited to "C" first names only?

I put up a poll on the side of the blog with a few of our top name choices and would be interested to know which ones our friends and family like best. If you have a moment of baby-naming inspiration and want to add a name to our list of "Names to Consider"...let us know. We are still open!

We are pretty sure we won't make a final decision until we officially meet the bundle of joy but a list of top two or three names would sure help the "crazy planner" in me feel more prepared.

Happy Love Day

Even though it is now Tuesday, I am still basking in the fun of a much-needed long weekend. In addition to the day off, Cole and I were lucky enough to have two house guests!

Ashley and Jarad were in town celebrating his grandpa's birthday and as hosts we got to steal them for the better part of the weekend.

Among the fun activities, the boys took us to Tepanyaki for a wonderful Valentines dinner. It was my first time at a hibachi grill and I had a blast as our cook sliced, diced, threw and prepared each portion of our meal.

Besides the good food and entertainment, it was awesome to have such good friends here to share it. Love you guys!

Riding in Style

Confession, folks.

We are pretty obsessed with the child-to-be.

The photos below will only begin to prove our nerdiness when it comes to preparing for the lil man.

So thanks to the generosity of both the Bukey and Lansford grandparents, our tyke's Chicco Key Fit Stroller arrived earlier this week. After an immediate and pretty painless assembly, we were itchin' to take this baby for a test ride.

Cole, ever the cautious daddy, wanted to figure out how all the snaps, levers and pulls would work.

Using our only available model, Cole and I tracked about the house taking the "baby" in and out of the carrier, stroller and base.
Watch out road, this baby is ready to ride in style!

Substitute baby...

Ready for our first walk...

A La Basement Bathroom

Although this project has been done for a couple months now, I still thought it would be fun to post a few pictures of our finished basement bathroom. For those of you who don't remember what we started with, the bathroom used to consist of a vanity and a sadly misplaced toilet. We decided to add an oversized shower and replace both the old toilet and vanity and tile the floor. Add a bright splash of color to the walls, super sexy glass tiles and a few white towels/accessories and, Wallah!
